I don’t know how to put pictures in post. I have a 2 blade vintage knife my grandfather owned trying to figure out what it is or any information on it Can someone help me

I think you can use a free photo posting software like imgur or photoshop. I think imgur is free. I’m only regurgitating what I’ve read though. Anyways, are there any markings on the blade, or can you give us dimensions and blade shape maybe?
Best of luck!

I love seeing older knives with sentimental value. Do you know what brand the knife is?

this was a 2 bladed knife the opposite blade is broken off. note in picture showing the tip at top of tip is tapered. I think I can make out some kind of symbol on butt of blade on one side it looks to be a circle with something stamped in it like some kind of lettering. on the other side of the blade at the butt of it I think I see at least 3 numbers appearing to be 275 I just got this knife from a relative that told me it belonged to my grandfather he died back in the late 1840's my relative only knows his mother (my dad's sister) gave it to him saying it was his granddad. My relative thinks the handle is tortoise shell I am not sure but it is dark greenish with brown coloring. Do you think someone could give me information on the knife?

posting images can be a real pain.
i would google postimage.org.
Free and easy. Just copy the direct link of whatever you upload, click the little portrait button for adding an image, and copy the link int he window.

good luck:)

hope this works

You can use the upload file button at the bottom but the pic has to be quite small mb wise otherwise it says the file size is to big, I find cropping the photo can help with this if using a phone. Like attached
