Man all you guys are great you can make a man blush :o :o I don't think I am that good but thanks to all that make me feel like I am..

Dan,You guys will just have to see what Donna comes up with for swim wear(or what I find her)But she does have some new cool stuff to model in anyway  :D  She was sick a week before Christmas and lost the weight she has been wanting to so now she can't tell us she is fat anymore ;)

Thanks for all the kind words everybody,
Bruce

Bruce,

I am certainly not far from you, and have been planning a trip over to tunica in the near future. May have to contact you about making a stop, and following some future plans I have as well.

Scrap yard? What kind of scrap yard? I love hearing those words together.......

The good scrap yard that was here got bought out, and is now an asphalt and gravel yard. I used to get some decent stuff out of the place too.....
(Dreaming of home made cnc stuff, and off the wall crazy machines)

Doc

Thanks Bruce. Its the only thing I've gotten since and including Christmas. Even my kitty cat won't snuggle with me anymore. But now we can see some real Bowies again. Best to you and yours Bruce.

RL

Great to see ya back, Bruce. I fondly recall your generosity and help over a year ago with my bowie project. I was wondering where you had been.

That new blade sure does look sweet. I bet that grind style gives it a lot of support behind the edge, while still reducing weight off the spine to make it quick, right? It's quite rare to see elk horn look so nice on a blade. I'll have to keep the mortise construction in mind if I ever come across some.

Good luck in the shop. I've been away far too long myself- I know where you're coming from there.

Ya know, I never actually got a chance to see you go, but since your here now, welcome to back! Now then, i read the word tutorials, and as I am just getting started, anything would be nice- you don't have a link do you? Nice to meet you (i guess).

Later Days
Peyton

Thanks Everybody,Donna says that you guys are to kind to remeber her also :D
Doc,It is a small Mom and Pop type scrap yard but we get all kinds of stuff, even machines from machine shops (sometimes, none at present though).
Possum, the knife balances just ahead of the plunge lines as it should and is very light and quick in hand even though it was ground from 3/16 inch stock.

Peyton, always glad to meet new makers, here is a link to mt tutorials

Glad to be back everyone.

He's ba-ack!
Good on ya buddy.
I'm ready to quit this advertising gig and be your apprentice ;)

Give me a holler when you get caught up....I have a piece of stag and a plan
:D

Edited to include:
"Knice Knife!"

Welcome back from me also! And to Donna! My best recollection of her was in the Red, White, and Blue theme!

Good to see you back Bruce great bowie. I too have benifited from your tutorials I recomend them to other makers on a regular basis.

I think it is nice to have a break from time to time. As long as you don't go my way I do some work from time to time and break most of the time.

I am not even going to try any of those beautiful big bowies you do. I am a small knife kind of maker. Much less work.

Glad to see you and Donna back on the forum.

I always like to see a beautiful girl holding a big knife. I have missed you two on here. Glad you came back home. By the looks of the bowie you only have 4 more to make fo MS. Only 6 month to do it. Git busy.

The Bruces are back!

She's beutiful, the knife looks great too! ;) It's good to have you back Bruce, Shop talk just ain't the same without you.
