I AM back, sorta......

Good to see you around again :).

I used to work landscaping in AZ during the summers. It took just a few hours (2-3) for me to get really messed up once. I was super dehydrated, and I'd likely drank over a gallon that day. After that, each day on the job started with a gatorade to get some salt and stuff in me, and then an average of 2-3 gallons during the day to keep me going during the hot season.

Looking forward to any and all news about the upcoming beckers :).

I bet let your temporary laps in judgment was your subconscious telling you that you needed to be drinking out of a fancy new BK&T waterbottle! Just kidding, just kidding.........all joking aside it's good to have you back :-)

I did that once and only once....I heat prostrated myself getting free food from the stores for the dogs and cats at the Animal Shelter that i worked for. Puked on everything and dry heaved for a couple days and felt like death warmed over for a week. If i did that same thing again now, i'd probably end up in the hospital.
Taint' fun not at all.......
Glad you are feeling better, Mr. Becker!

Get yourself a hydration system!

You don't even notice it on your back and the drinking hose reminds you to drink, drink, drink!

Glad you're ok!

I'm glad your ok, Uncle E. You had me real worried there as I was begining to read the thread. Water is very important.

I'm just real glad that your okay.

Man, that's rough! I did that when I was younger, too. It was my first week ever working construction and I drank Coke all week. It was a lesson learned and to this day I still have an aversion to Coke, though I know it was the lack of water.

Got any good pheasant recipes? :)

I think honey jack will get ya back on your feet quick enough. Glad to hear your OK. Instead of walking around looking for pheasants just take one of those john Deere gators out. A group of those paired with a few good dogs will flush em up quick. Plus they come with a cup holder for all sorts of beverages. Take it easy E.

Welcome Back! Glad your feeling better. Beckers and Pheasants... YUM

For the win
2 pages of posts and nobody suggests the "Ultimate Bear Grylls Hydration kit", don't you guys care enough to suggest the best remedy?

I do, because I care.....

Glad to have you more or less back, Boss. Hope you stay on the upswing.

I'll have to remember that pheasant have a dehydrating effect :D

Sooooooo .... that's the story you want to go with eh ?

There's a rumor going around, that you hit the lottery and were hold up with a couple 20 year old "escorts" for a few days
and it was them that did all the Dehydrating ... ;)

Well, that's the story I would have gone with anyway :D

Good to hear you're ok.

Really glad to hear your ok now E.
Dehydration is no joke.
Stay safe boss, I still need to get to a gathering and shake your hand.

Glad you made it through that. I've always said "No water unless my piss smells like old meat and is the color of a dying sun" but maybe that's the wrong way to go :D

Your kidneys should ache too. Your kidneys, not my kidneys. :D

Glad to hear you're recovering. Sounds like you need a new hunting buddy...

...the "Ultimate Bear Grylls Hydration kit"...

What is that? A Camelbak tube that attaches directly to your urethra?

Hey Everybody......

Thanks for the kind words and I Guess I appreciate the well deserved razzing.....All things considered, as many chuckles and smiles as I got reading this thread,BRL's tre Tradwateresque "quote" laid me in the aisles........Now That's FUNNY!!!!!......May I use it in class, sir ???.........

Looking back one of the things that amazes me is how the damn condition snuck up on me....on little cat feet and sticking to the shadows it was.........Never again......

Thanks, Guys.....
