Thanks Russ :) nice to see you again, northern latitude indeed, we are starting to get a decent amount of daylight again now, feels good to see the sun again, how is the winter treating you up in Alaska?
 
School is great.....except for Spanish. Spanish is destroying my normally calm demeanor.

Usted no necesita adopte el temperamento español para aprender la lengua :D I started learning spanish two weeks ago for fun, but it's pretty hard, i try to learn one 4-8 word sentence every other day.

Lennox, Doing pretty good over this way and I agree on the amount of daylight!!! Getting ready for the March Equinox in Anchorage, Alaska, U.S.A. on
Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 8:57 AM AKDT. Start rolling over to more light than dark.:D I have my next C-Scan on the 21st and hope I'm still doing OK. As they say Lord willing and the creek don't rise, I'll be around to yak about Busse's for several more years.

We are rolling over at the 21....I get up at 5 every morning and now the sun gets up just about one hour after me, the return of daylight greatly improves energy levels, i can't wait for the midnight sun to arrive.

Sending lots of smoke and crossing fingers,arms,legs and toes for everything to ok on your C-scan.

Don't worry yourself with needless Spanish sentences. As a South Texas resident I've found that just a few phrases work very well and are all that a fella really needs to know. They are as follows:

1. Donde esta la frontera? Where is the border?
2. Donde esta la cantina? Where is the bar?
3. Donde esta el bano? Where is the bathroom?
4. Cuanto? How much?
5. Esto es comida de perro? Is this dog meat?
6. Cuanto quieres para que no me jives a la carcel? How much do you want so you don't take me to jail? (note: a bribe is known as a 'mordida'."
7. Vendejo... This means good friend. Buddy. Use it often.

These phrases should be memorized prior to any visit south of the Rio Grande. Disclaimer: This wording is what we call "tex-mex" and is not formal spanish. Speaking formal spanish will only confuse the locals. My spelling is probably fubar.


This concludes our lesson for this evening. Thanks for tuning in.

Hahahaha good one bro, but i am going to Spain so i think i'm going to need a bit more than that :D And my Spanish buddies really suck at English, not to mention Norwegian which is completely useless anywhere but Scandinavia
