I hope you enjoy BLADE and all its ambience. Remember that if the HOG's get too unbearable, just show them a glimpse of your true "DARK SIDE". Remember to pack a little something special (HOG's, picture somthing like HYPER with a HAMMER DRILL).

The trip's a little long for me so I'll have to live vicariously though you and your posts.

TurnerIII -- If you and RF can make it to Hot-lanta in ~13 hours I want to be the first to shake your hand. It took me ~11 hours from MN to Louisville, KY for Knob Creek, and that's still about 400 miles from the Cobb Galleria. Also, don't forget that you lose an hour in Indiana.

Perhapse next year the three of us could plan a roadtrip -- June 8-10, 2007. :)

I will do my best to keep you posted......and as far as HOGS being unbearable I think I can handle them!!!!!!!

Ok RV03V0M - that was a bit of an optimistic estimate.... but despite the distance it might well be worth the trip. We will need to consider this - get some northern Hogs(porkies?) down there! :D
 
If I had the dough, I would be going, but I already used vacation time this year, and if I went I would have hardly any money to spend. So, I will try to save my pennies for Blade west. :(

It was quite a drive to Atlanta from here, driving straight through with 1-3 hrs of rest time it took me 36 hrs to get to St Petes Florida, maybe 28+? hrs to Atlanta? I dunno. but it was pretty grueling.

I was thinking the same thing. It take 12 hours from where I live, that's with my wife driving like a nut.

I really want to know why you say "my wife driving like a nut" to me it seems like you are saying that "your wife " is a bad driver or something.........I am a good driver and tell your wife Amy-0 says she is a good driver..........us gals must stick together cause alot of people think that women are bad drivers...We are the best drivers because we are not afraid to stop and ask for directions if we are lost.............(Ha Ha) Maybee it takes you that long because you don't ask for directions....just a thought......but anyways.........BLADE SHOW IS GONNA BE AWESOME !!!!!!

For me driving over 5 MPH in excess of the posted speed limit is nuts. How's that for an explanation. :D In regards to directions, we run full mapquest runs of all our options and possible routes on trips going to and from an objective. If that doesn't work, I don't have a problem stopping and asking for directions.

In regards to showing us a glimpse of your dark side if we are unbearable, just be careful or you might get a glimpse of the dark side of a couple of our kilts! :D
