Hey Everybody....

Poor Toooj...Despite a lot of time & considerable patience I still have to get him to post pics for me, but there is light at the end of the tunnell---I think...

Anyhoooo....The pics are of me harvesting some test media....That is tulip poplar, one of the most tractable soft "hard"woods, of which, we have an abundance .....I hope to start "lab" testing tonite or wed but probably thursday...I get a tooth out tomorrow and I expect it to be a difficult one soooo......I also hope to share some 77 "in use" pics later this week as well.......

The BK13 that came with my BK-9 is a nice knife. I convexed the edge and have found that it could get nasty sharp and seems to be holding OK. I haven't been taking down saplings or battoning with mine yet :). Its mostly been used in the kitchen so far.

yeah, i wasn't expecting it to baton big stuff ;) interesting test to try it. pocket scalpel indeed!

now all we need is a knife with a little loop on the end, ala trout/bird knives :>

Mr becker thank you for the stern and quick reply instantly dissapating my momentary doubt of one of your designs, shearwater thanks for the consumer input its nice to hear from the creator and the possessor and hear good all around many thanks guys cant wait to write my review of the 7,9, and my new 13's!:D
 
Sorry to wake the dead Ethan, but I was curious to know if you guys had a price range in mind for these as sold solo?

I seem to remember the same thing, rmc85. Maybe Ethan or Tooge will chime in and confirm it.
