Well my soninlaw came over today and looked at the lock back folder today that I almost got finished and told me he never felt a knife that smooth.
That was a good thing for me after a bucket of scrap and a lot of hard work.
What a lift after so many mistakes along the way.
This is a real hi to make something like this that someone could use and be prod to own.
I wish i had a way to post pictures but knot at this time.
Thanks to all that Post hear for the great information.

Wellcome,

Yes please do mail Stacy, we wish to see it badly...
So, is this your first knife??, if it is to start with a folder needs some guts.

Bravo! That is a great feeling, and hopefully it will still be after many knives... it is for me.

Yes this is my first knife from start to finish.
I still need to finish sanding and some finish on scales.
I will try to get a friend to take some pictures as soon as it is complete.
Yes I started with a folder lock back because they are my favorite but it turned out to be harder then I thought. Thanks guys for your posts.

D2 man that stuff gets hard the next ones i make i will get a lot closer before heat treat.thanks and may God bless.

Good job JR. Looking good. Keep at it and they will only get better. Unfortunately the disease you have contracted will only get worse. There is no known cure, welcome to the support group.

Thanks guys I am sure all know how great it feels to finish a knife.
The other day when i was penning the pins i got so nervous that my hands started shaking and i had to stop and just calm down.
The blades are not in perfect center but the lock up is real solid and they open and close real smooth.
I really enjoyed the encouragement Thanks again to All of you and best wishes.
