I have done some more thinking and research, and I believe I would prefer an Arkansas Toothpick as opposed to a bowie.

The blade would be 10" long.

The spine would be 1/4" thick with a hollow grind for the edge. The blade would start at 1" wide at the ricasso and end with a sharp point, but not a needle point. Too easy to break that way.

For the steel, do you forge or use bar-stock? If forging, I would want the steel forge finished. If stock, then the steel would have a very low satin on it. I will be forcing patina on the entire blade, so a good polish would be wasted.

The blade would take the shape as the picture below. However, I would want a 1/2" ricasso instead of the blade following all the way to the handle.

The grip would be 5.5" long total. Large enough to fit in a relatively large hand without dwarfing the blade. I would need it with a 1" long copper bolster. The end of the handle would be capped off with 1/4" copper. I would be fine with a relatively short, smooth head nail if there would have to be one.

I would want the grip to be a coffin handle. The pins would be copper

It would be antler, but I am not picky as to which animal it is from. Whichever would be cheapest for you. I would need it with a low polish. It would look similar to the picture below.

The cross-guard would be copper. It would be a total length of 2 1/4" long. It would be a plain, rounded off bar. Nothing fancy.

And lastly, a plain leather sheath. It would not need rivets or have to be laminated. The shape would be something like the picture bellow.
