I am loving this CQC-7V Prestige....warning.. actual knife content.

I have the same CQC-7V and this original post and pics is what pushed me over the edge to buy the knife. Damn it's a VERY nice knife. On week three it opens smooth and has an extremely solid lock-up,... and sharp as hell. The wave on this knife seems easiest to catch and open of all my Emersons so far. I'd love to see this knife released as a normal production so I could have a second for a hard-use beater knife.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the "wave" ?

I really prefer no wave on my Emersons. Mine are wave-less and my son's are waved so I have tried both styles. Every time I needed a knife to be open that quickly, I took the knife from "the other guy". Of course that won't ever stop me from buying a waved Emerson.
