Well, where to start. All I can say is that I made a post about my cheap knife collection. Before long, one of the members here saw my post and said that he had a knife he wanted to send me. I sent him my address. Heck, I ain't stupid. He did. I got it today along with a nice paracord and a Fenix E21 metal tactical flashlight. . I have already polished the knife three times. LOL. This one knife is worth more than the rest of my collection. Wow, what a great group of people here especially him. He just did it out of the kindness of his heart. I don't want to publish his name without permission but I just want to thank him publicly on the forum. He knows who he is. I am dumbfounded by his generosity. Mike in Missouri033.jpg031.jpg
 
Wow generous indeed, but not surprised.
I posted wtb thread once and a nice gent did the same for me. I was blown away as well. It has motivated me to pay forward a few items. One day you can return the favor to another member once you are situated and keep this good karma going in the right direction.
 
That has gotta be an old school model. That blade shape is called a labaha if I'm not mistaken. They havent made those for a while.Are the handles ti? I think that's a serious collectors piece if its authentic, atleast $450.

Incredible gesture from that bf member. Cherish it. Id love to know the specs on it.
 
I don't know much about the Benchmades except they are high quality. I get the impression it is an older model. I think it is a model 30 from the 90's. Could be wrong.

Yes, I have gotten to pay it forward other times with different things. It is a blessing to both partys.

It looks like it may be a BM45 or 62. I'm not so familiar with the newer ones. I would like to cop a feel one day.

It should have the number etched under the butterfly. If not, then there's vintage, old school Filipino made and the Ones from China.

BM design still sits on top here.

Maybe my eyes are decepting me but it appears gunners is a legit labaha profile, there's no swedge, also there's no cut out for the pocket clip so I don't think its a 31.

I'm on a phone so maybe I'm not seeing pics clearly
 
OP throw those pics up in the bali song thread. They will tell you exactly what model it is. :thumbup:
