I am one of you!

I've entered some gyms and really wished I had some kind of breathing apparatus :D :barf:

At times I would appreciate a particle filter, the magnesia-filled air can get trying at times :D

Well, now you can invent the next great workout routine... "Zillaerobics"

I think we're on to something here... Aquatic Zillaerobics, the next step after Zillaerobics. This is where that corrosion resistance really comes into play!

I am happy you are so pleased with the Zilla  You certainly have an eye for a good picture ... this one is my favourite ... makes the blade look like it has "lightening" running through it

Given your job as a forest firefighter ... your new Zilla will be a great companion "to watch your back" ;) That blade will remove obstacles faster than anything bar a chainsaw

Wishing you all the best fun using it

My boss would probably think me insane if he saw me wearing a zilla at a job, not because of the blade - he'd want his turn with it also :D but because of the extra 3lbs I'd be totin' around :D

SHe still has a few steps up he can go... Gladius, Chuckette (the grail that other grails swim in), Pork Sword!

she hasn't reached the peak yet, she just started way further up the mountain than most of us ;)

Yes, I see your point ... and the heat from any fires would make the lighter Basic series Res C handles a bit vulnerable to melting ( I am guessing here ... not entirely sure ) ... weight on a belt is very noticeable ... on a harness it evens out much better ... but if carrying breathing gear I can understand that every pound in weight would count  Well, ... it looks like the Zilla will be just for pleasure then :D

Here's what i did with one of my kukris. It's not a busse, but the size and shape are very similar and it would work just as well on yours.

Congrats on your new knife and welcome to the INFI addiction!

I love those cake cutting pics :D

I had a quick look around using "google-fu" to see what sort of equipment was carried doing your type of job ... this photo impressed me a lot ...

If I was stuck in that type of role I would want the biggest chainsaw I could carry to get me out of there too :D

Infact from a military perspective I would want something like a rotary mag 40mm grenade launcher! I'd be blasting my way the hell out !:D

Pialia...

wow, forest firefighter, my hats off to you, one of the toughest jobs in the world.

That said, Mr. Busse needs to whip up a KillaZilla Light Brigade for folks in your line of work!

i think bad ass may be the most appropriate adjective to describe mr. pialia! Thanks for doing what you do...seeing how the brushfires wreck havoc where my family lives, I am thankful for people like you

See, i do learn... :D

I was worried about the same thing with the SAR 4. The one I got had been sharpened and was scary sharp and it makes feather sticks like crazy, maybe not as good as a anorexic busse but the NMFBM and SAR4 combo is my SHTF combo and wanted it to be a good mix between a good cutter and strong and I think the SAR 4 is perfect. I was hesitant when I bought the SAR but now I am so glad I grabed her and wouldn't trade it out for any other Busse for the roll I have it for. Put a good edge on her and she will do whatever you want her to do. Plus the SAR4 is also Zero convex they will be great friends.

Went kayaking, no fish were caught but I didn't manage to catch a couple of zillas.
