A coupla months ago I bought myself a Spyderco Military and finally found the ultimate EDC. Wow, it was a beauty, camo handle, plain satin blade, and I got it razor sharp on my paper wheels; really awesome. Used it every day around the farm, for all kinds of tasks.

Loved it so much that i sprung for a beautiful STR ti clip.

By now, you probably know where this going...............yes I lost it. I am so mad, I think I am going to carry a rusty old Lowes box cutter from now on. Anyways, sorry for the rant.

i got my first knife stolen when my bathroom was redone.. it wasnt much but it meant a lot to me... a Gerber Truss 2.0 :( it was my baby knife i loved it

So i feel your pain

It always huts to loose a knife. It being a good one like in your case just makes it worse.

I guess the ironic thing is that I never sprung for an expensive folder before this one and have always used cheapo knives for around-the-house stuff.

Reeek, yes, I have retraced my steps the best I could, but I was very active on Saturday and it might have dropped from my pocket while I was doing chores on my ATV.

Thanks hw, it is late now but in the AM I will check the truck again. I have hope still......

Don't give up hope. I once found a knife a year after I lost it. After returning from hunting camp, I couldn't find my favorite little folder. Well, the next hunting season, i was putting on my hunting boots and that's when I finally remembered putting the knife in the boot for safe keeping when breaking camp the previous year. Thank god the blade was closed.

I feel your pain! The very first "high end" knife I ever bought (a Spyderco too), was lost while on vacation not a month after I bought it. :(

When I lived in California I carried about ten different Benchmades all on EDC rotation. I must have lost each model once due to the thin pants I was wearing. EVERY single time I got my knife back because the people I worked with would find them somewhere on a golf course, and bring them back to me. I was the only English speaking person so they would hold the knife out and say "yours?" Those guys were great. I hope you find your knife.

I guess having a como handle doesn't help much with a lost knife. Sleep on it... things always looks better in the morning. Is there any chance it may have been stolen?

Dang, that's bad. But...

I've "lost" knives lots of times and then later I found them just hiding from me.

I hope it shows up. That's a heck of a knife (so I'm told :) )

Have you checked under your driver seat, under the couch, and in old clothes.

This is a good suggestion, I had a Kershaw Whirlwind that I thought I had lost. A couple years later I had to install some seat covers in my truck, and to properly do so, I needed to remove the seats. Upon removing the seats, there it was, wedged between the seat track and transmission hump.

Loneriderz, that camo comment is funny, my wife said the same thing yesterday.

I am enjoying everyone's comments, by the way , and the suggestions have been helpful.
I have not given up yet.

One word answer to your problem; "Orange".

Yup. Either that or make sure you put a brightly colored lanyard on it. I've done that with all my knives that go with me outdoors. I've got a bright red lanyard on my Becker BK7 after losing it twice.

I hope you find it - millies are way too nice to lose. :(

thx - cpr
