I am really ticked off!

Sorry to hear you lost your Millie. IMO, it would be worth getting another one if it suited as well as you say it did.

You will find it in the last place you look. ;) :D

Seriously though, I do hope you find it. That is a really nice knife. I'd be tearing everything up if I lost my ZT0300.

Dudes! She came back!
Last night the furnace was leaking water so I reached for a flashlight on a shelf next to the washing machine. Lo and behold, there was Millie, hidden from view for almost two weeks,no worse for wear. I must have placed it there after removing my pants to throw into the washer. I don't know why I but that doesn't matter now.
Thanks everybody, your sometimes helpful and sometimes funny remarks were appreciated!

Briz,
I stuck through the whole thread hoping you found it. So the story ends with a "Happily ever after." Way to go. Been there, felt loss (more than I should of) and then found it, supplied a good mood for more than a day.

Hooray! Great outcome.

Now if you can just work on those memory blackouts. :p

That's great. The feeling of finding a missing knife might even be better than buying a new one...

Hey! Glad you found it. I felt like i was reading a suspenseful novel and then the ending i was hoping for came. Glad itaback with you. Make it a habit toputit on your dresser when youre home for good! All myusersstay nextto mycomputer withmy cell phone, ipod touch and keys.

I will be making an orange lanyard, pronto. I will be sure to unload pockets in dresser drawer, as is my usual routine. And thanks Guyon, I will try to keep brain fog in check.

briz, I've found the reflective lanyard works better than the orange. I dropped an old SAK while camping recently, and in less than 30 seconds the flashlight had it jumping up at me.

Glad to hear you found it!

Glad Millie made it back where she belongs.

Glad to hear it returned home to you.
Its kinda funny that I came across this thread today, because I had something opposite happen today. I was rummaging through some old catalogs today and pickup a little audiobook catalog which felt much heavier than it should. I tipped it up and two finished damascus blades fell out. They are baldes I made, and I had the habit when in my other shop to protect blades in such a manner when transporting them home, so they don't scratch each other. I have made many such blades and must have lost track of these two and that particular catalog got put away in the shelf, forgotten until today.
Woooohoo!

+1 on the orange handle/reflective lanyard.

Glad you found it! Now if I can only find my key chain with my Kershaw T-Tool on it...probably around my messy desk somewhere...It would help to be organized.

i just had a bm 930 taken from my suitcase whenflying from chicago to toronto to rome. i at least would like to know who took it and why

Strangely enough - S&R tests show that fluoro green works better than orange - not sure why. I dropped an orange handled pruning saw one time and it took me over an hour of backtracking to find it - must have walked over it 4 times before I spotted it.

:D see I told you it would show up.

Next time, remove the clip, do some strategic bending, re-install.
This way it will grip your pants tighter. The only downside to this
is your pockets get a little frayed after a spell. In most cases you
have probably already blown a hole in the back side by this time anyhow.:D

Congrats on the recovery I know what it is like to lose one or have one or more stolen. Sucks, but again congrats man. What a feeling of relief, huh?

6 years ago, i lost a camillus cuda jr. in lake eufaula. pre-production #90-something.
i was sick for a week, until i got paid, and bought my first benchmade. i still miss that cuda. it would open cans of raviolis with no damage to the edge...
