I am seeing Manix 2's....

Wait... they're making a FFG model?

A few of the initial knives for the pilot run have a FFG, but the regular production Manix 2 won't have it. However, Sal has hinted that we may see the FFG in future sprint runs with different steels.

Big time for Spydercos... its like everything is hitting us at once.
What....

RIL Sage
FG Ladybug
Manix 2
Lum Chinese Folder sprint run
Orange Moran

Am I missing anything?

Rock Lobster
G10 Poliwog
Temperance
Orange Millie Sprint Run

I'm sure there are a few more. These should hold you for now.:D

I ordered a Manix 2 from knifecenter, which indicated they were in stock. This was not true, and they sent me an email telling me to cool my jets. So they can bite my ankle. I don't deal with vendors who pretend to have items in stock but do not.

I'll wait a while for the feeding frenzy to die down, and by then I may want something else anyway. :)

:thumbdn:

Blargh. I just checked my email, and they pulled the same garbage with me. Well, I finally give KnifeCenter a chance, and this is what happens. Yet one more reason why New Graham gets 95% of my business. "1 to 2 business days before the knife ships" Hmmm. We'll see about that.

I just ore ordered mine with Tom Berry and should be getting mine soon. It does suck to get a knife ordered under the expectation it was in stock, more reason I like to confirm first via e mail or phone call if the item actually is in stock.

I've had very good results ordering from Knifecenter. I don't order brand new just released items though, mostly it's stuff that's been around for a bit. Not all knives too, some Surefires, some random stuff.

For the true bleeding edge of the Spyderco frenzy you have to go with Tom.

+1 for Tom Berry. I placed all my preorders with him months ago. He let me know last week that my Manix was due today at his business. I also preordered a Sage RIL and got a Moteng Lum too, all due to him in the next couple days or so so I am waiting for all three before he ships. I may have all three by early nexct week. Who knows, maybe Saturday is possible :) I also have preordered with him, two Leafstorms, two Ti Militarys and two Chokwes. Tom rocks.

I've got two lefty millies, two ti millies (might make it three), and two orange millies on order with him.

You can see my monetary crisis. :D

Could be worse. My boss collects Harleys. They sit in a garage.

Finally a model that comes in Real Full Length Spyderedge for those who choose (thats me) using a good quality down to earth steel (154CM) at a down to earth price.

I sure beats those super expensive super worst of both worlds combo edges made out of super duper duper space age miracle do it all, take it all, commando, grit your teeth and pull your hair out while trying to sharpen it steels. Oh and don't drop it on a hard surface.

Knife center lists the plain edge as "usually ships within a week" but do list the fully serrated as in stock. They are usually accurate although I can recall one time they weren't. Hopefully this one is.

It might very well be since down to earth, educated, wise people who recognize the usefulness of full serrations seem to be swamped out by plain edge worshipping fanatics these days.
