You could try stropping it. Or just touching it up with the fine rods on the Sharpmaker, well if you have one.

I carry a Stanley box cutter with the replaceable razor blades for just that reason. Whenever someone asks to borrow a knife they get the one with the 2 cent blade not the one clipped to my pocket.
