I applied for a survival show

Well guys i got two calls from discovery today. the first one was from the casting director. he said he just wanted to call and shoot the shit cause i always have a good story for him lol! so after talking for awhile he said not only does he want me to be on the show, but that hes trying to push for me to be on it!
the second call was from another employee calling to ask if i were to be selected what airport i would like to fly out of!!!!!! he said i could take the call any way i wanted, but to be ready to fly out if need be lol! This is so nutz,,,, ive never done anything like this. i never dreamed about being on tv, but it sure is a cool thought now. lol. oh and thanks to you guys and others my audition is now the number one viewed audition! in only 3 days im beating the nearest other audition by over 60 views!!!! thanks for everything, all of you. I would love to be givin this chance not only for myslef, but for all of you!

Any estimation of when we can expect your mug on the screen? Than it will be like another year before it its broadcasted in europe....
 
Ben we all hope you get. It would really be interesting to see a common man on a show like that because let's face it - most of the ppl we see today we knew about already

Well they fedex'ed me a contract! I read through everything this weekend and need to send it back tomorrow. I should know in a week or two if they are going to fly me to L.A. to meet with me! Thanks to you guys my video is by far the most viewed audition for the show! Thanks guys all your support and kind words really mean alot to me. keep your fingers crossed that i make it to the next level.
 
what do you mean next level? You're in, hope you have it in your schedule and it doesn't affect your private life as of now.. Most people jump on the ban wagon ditch everything to do one show maybe a season. etc, come back and nothings the same as they've shown their colors..

well no new news yet, but my other part time job is getting really bucky about me taking some time off if i were to get on the show. i brought it up to them today, and they were not very happy with me at all.... oh well its a once in a life time opportunity, i feel like i need to at least try for it.
 
I totally agree with the once in a life time thing. If it were me I would go for it, even if it meant maybe losing a part-time job for a while.

You will do great man, and we are all here to support you and rest assured be your best critics when the show is finally aired :D
