howdy as I have done on the 20 and 25th shindigs I am posting a am I going to the shindig thread with poll , you can do jest the questions but I hope you post some extra info as to how you are going if flying or driving
if driving and have room for some one to join with you to share gas
and if going alone or with friends or if flying you would share a room there

and if you are bringing a display or not
(note if flying with a display expect to have the home land security open the display to inspect the knives as it will show up on the xray! )

yep I am going ... fyi for active/retired mil or leo show them your id and can get the room fer about 102 vs the 145$
I don't know if I will be able to share a room as my friend does not know if his wife is coming with him or not but if his wife is able to come I may have a room and a rental car some one can share with me on ...
I was going to drive and bucksway ride with me but he had other plans come up and I decided it wer jest a might to far to drive three 16 hr days alone ... not that young any more don't ya know
I will bring two displays if there is room for them at the motel, not likely I will have any for sale
would like to know of those coming how many this will be the first time for them? edit = this will be my 3ed time at Idaho , could not afford to make it at the old plant in California

I have my reservations and will be driving and fishing my way there and back. Dutch will be with me...he likes Buck knives too. Preston

My wife and I are leaving after work on 7-19, driving 26 hours and spending the night in Butte on 7-20. Fishing and camping on Kelly creek(ID MT border) sat sun and mom, arriving spoke valley sometime tues. I am planning on displaying a few Custom handled Prehistoric Ivory Bucks, old and new....first time to post falls, looking forward to the event and meeting all the poeple that will be there!!!

I'm bringing a few items that I can hopefully trade, but if the price is right they will sell....

Armand said he'd swing by and pick me up in St. Louis on his way......

My wife and I will be attending. We went to the 25th so this will be our second time there. We will be driving and hope to be there a day or two early to do a few things and meet up with some of the guys.
We live just north or Portland Oregon so it is about a 9 or 10 hr drive for us which includes lunch and rest stops. After the picnic at Lori Bucks house we will be leaving for our family's annual camping trip
in Eastern Oregon at Anthony Lake for a few days of camping, hiking, and fishing. Usually 30 or so of us go and it is a great time with family and friends.

I will be bringing a display of customs. Not sureif I will be bringing anything to sell.

I'm still on the fence. 30 hours behind the wheel, or $1,200 round trip by air. The more I think about it, the more unlikely it becomes....

I'll be there as usual. No collection to show off this time, that's just too much work for an old guy........BUT I am bringing one blade to sell.

We were going but decided to back East instead...I think I'm going to miss something special...Oh well, there's always the 35th...

I'll be there 5 min away. Have it easy. Not sure on how these events go as this will be my first one. Not sure if i should have some sheaths there or not. Maybe a giveaway or something.

dayum any place you have to put a block heater in yer pickmup is too cold fer my old bones !

Newberg Oregon to St Louis - Humm - That's only about 1600 miles each way out of Armands way. I am sure he is up for that.

Okey dokey.

I think Haebbie is in this pic.o_O

Yes, I am. But I don't tell you where. There's no Oktoberfest in Idaho in July, so I leave my Bavarian outfit at home. Especially because Dave doesn't wear his kilt and do you, Mike, wear your tutu at the celebrations? If yes, I wear my lederhosen again.
