I'll wear a kilt if you wear your lederhosen. Or I'll make us both some lederhosen. Brothers from different mothers.
 
well ... ugh .... I had thought to ware my kilt and bring my swords to the blade show but got sick that year... to the 30th??? don't know if the bcci will let me stay a member if I do!
after all weather we like it or not if we id our selves as a member of the bcci we become ambassador's for the bcci ....

I'm in. You guys come wearing your kilts and I will as well but I may be a bit late so go ahead and wear yours there. Don't wait for me. I'll be there. Trust me.
My old neighbor was Scottish and a few years ago he would have a Highland games party at his place during the summer. He would wear his kilt uniform.
I would supply a wheel barrow full of dried cow pies out of my pasture for the cow pie toss. This is the only one of the games I came in first. Go figure.
I have a small trophy somewhere. They have since moved back to Scotland.
 
its called a kilt as a Englishman asked the highlander why he wore a skirt and highlander KILT him.
IDK, might pack mine might not it would be cool to see a bunch o guys with them on!
hummm I going to start a thread of who in the buck realm ware Kilts? and post a picture if you do!

My guess, if you're in that picture and you're wearing your Bavarian outfit, you're the guy in the center right with the brown Bavarian outfit on??
 
As much as I would like to attend, I am not going to be able to.
Reasons include (but are not limited to)
1) It is too far to ride my bicycle this time of year. (I've been car free by choice since 1995)
2) A severe case of Lackabucks.
 
highlanders are part Viking!! and I will pack my kilt but not the swords they take up too much room like lederhosen they take lota up room...means I will have to do laundry
I am not sure what day to call kilt day? don't think I want to wander the plant tour in a kilt but the pizza lunch not that might be a good day for kilts
still want to know who else has guts to ware one!?

Spokane has good rail connections although the trains are a little more crowded in the summer.

I was able to get them from FL at 800 for two people round trip. had them for 7 but buy the time I got done searching those were gone.
