I blame you... all of you...

I deeply apologize, by all means feel free to mail the offending knives to me and put an end to this illness now, considerin' it penance for your indiscretion and a lesson well learned. ;)

I feel terrible being an influence, I'll gladly take all of the knives you bought and hide them from you forever here at my house.

Anyways, it just gets worse lol.

Don't blame anybody but yourself.

just don't join any Rolex watch forums.

I feel your pain. After carrying the same delica for a year I signed up here and have bought 5 new spydercos in the last 2 months.

My wife says it's better to be on the knife, gun etc forums than the prono sites. So as your knives grow you can start visiting the exchange forums.

Not one single fixed blade  now I know you said you where done but that just will not do :D

So they got you too, eh? Yeah, I used to have a life, money, a wife who could trust me. Now I get home early to make sure she doesn't check the mail first in case there's a new package in there. The rhythmic sounds of metal scraping over stone emanates from my "office" at all hours. Leather belts disappear from my closet and I am seen at hardware stores asking confused workers for jeweler's rouge even though I neither wear jewelry nor makeup. My house is full of oddly shredded slivers of paper.

Traditionals. They're the gateway drug. That's how they got me too. It's obviously too late for you. I can see the mark on you. There may still be a chance for me, I've only bought eight knives this month, I can stop at any time, once these next three come in, no more knives this month!

Hehe, it only get's worse from here. Once you get to the point where it takes 6 months to rotate through your collection by switching knives daily you'll know how I feel!

But it's a GOOD pain, LOL.

That's it? a couple hundred bucks? HOW. DARE. YOU. I just dropped 800 this month on a winkler spike and winkler belt knife thats this month alone!!

DAMN YOU BLADEFORUMS!!! damn damn damn!!!

Oh BTW. Thank you so very much for your service OP.

Better than spending your deployment money on booze and hookers which I've had more than a few friends do.

Oh and that GEC Sodbuster is on my shortlist. Let me know how that O1 steel works for you.

I like the 01 in its ability to hold a decent edge for a good length of time, easy to sharpen, and the soddie is just a classic design. Having said that, I'm in Afghanistan and I can't keep the damn thing from rusting. How does that make sense?? I've literally buffed the blade with fine sandpaper, and a day later those little spots are back. I have a Queen D2 soddie on the way, hopefully that will do a little better in the corrosion dep't... but the handle on the GEC, I just don't see how you could get more comfortable than that.

Who said I haven't? :D
