I bought a folder from Horan Knives for $600 and I had to send it back more than 5 times for different problems like pieces falling off and now the blade won't lock. Every time I send it in it takes months to come back and after he didn't fill a $4000 order for 2 YEARS I can't send it back to him and expect to ever see it again. It's a dangerous knife to handle because of this and I don't know what to do? Any suggestions?
 
So... you signed up with BLADEFORUMS just so you could bash a custom knifemaker?
And we're supposed to take you seriously?

Lemme guess....there was a sticky price tag on it that doesn't stick anymore and that's what keeps falling off......and it's a slipjoint or a friction folder so it never locked to begin with. Am I close? Do you have any pics or correspondence to verify your claims? If so, it would behoove you to post some proof. Without it your post isn't going to be taken very seriously.
 
It's been a few days since the OP made his post and he hasn't been back. How about a moderator delete the post and change the title.
 
I bought a $6000 custom fixed blade knife from Joe Schmoe and it won't fold closed. Not only that, the headlight fell off.
 
I ordered a Bowie from Will & Finck two years ago and they have yet to E-mail me back!!!!
 
I ordered this knife from this jerk named Chipped Karambit. I paid him my life savings and he sent me a spork with "9000" on it. I ORDERED A KILL MASTER 9000 AND HE SENDS ME THIS JOKE! Where the hell am i supposed to put the coffee

I also bought a Horan Folder and it has the same problem where it won't close! I have pictures, I also bought it for 600 and I got number 1! I can't use it because it will never stay closed! Please excuse the rust, I just left it in my safe because I can never trust it won't cut me again!http://pinterest.com/kevin9876/horan-folder/

I hope this pictures prove that Knifecollector1 and I were ripped off!
 
That sucker is in bad condition. Try taking it apart and bending the frame lock and assemble. clean it up cause thats about what he going to do if you send it back.

Did it ever work properly ? Not to bust on you but even if it does not work and you spent $600. You should maintain it . Its just the right thing to do.
