I ordered an EdgePro today from CKTG in a moment of internet shopping weakness. Great price and free shipping.

The sharpmaker is great for my small folders but isnt cutting it otherwise. Hopefully, this will take me further in my quest for uber sharpness.

Now the wait :(

The Edge Pro is a superb device. I don't think you'll regret the purchase.

I just got mine from Accurate Sharpening; came with a free SAK and shipping. Be very careful with it because it scratches up your knives really easily. But once you get the hang of it, you'll end up with some edges you never thought were possible.

I got it from Chefs Knives to Go. They have the EdgePro Chosera set too but it was recommended I start with the regular stones to get my technique down before stepping up to the Chosera stones.

Ive been watching as many Youtube videos as I can to be ready when it comes and I have some cheaper knives put aside for learning.

Did any of you get the stone leveling kit?

I just got the SiC baggie because I had some 1/2 inch glass panes. I do need it to de-glaze the stones when they get loaded. Makes a world of difference in how the stones cut.

Bought my Edge Pro from Chef Knives to Go with the Chosera waterstones. I can't say enough good things about the edge pro... All of my EDC's now have a hair popping mirror edge. The sharpmaker hasn't seen the light of day since the EP arrive at my door. I also got the 1/2 wide stones for dealing with my blades that have with a recurve, I ordered the leveling kit directly from EdgePro:

Hope this helps.

Prepare for the sickness, once you get a knife that makes razor sharp look mediocre you'll understand what I mean.

You will get that nice warm feeling when you can see your own reflection on an Edgepro mirror polished edge. Just make sure to practice on some of your beater knives before you move on to higher end blades.

Take your time.

Watch the video first!!

Don't use too much water on the stones. The build up will scratch the blade.

My first try below, took an hour, but it came out perfect. I'm a believer.
