I broke my Ang Khola in half!!!

Chris,

I hate to tell you this, but down under it is already Tuesday 2nd April and you're a day late. You sucked me in just the same!

('')

I was able to put about a 15 degree flex in the blade of my 15" AK by burrying the tip in a stump and using my leg muscles to pry as hard as I could. When I let go the blade returned to true.

I was wondering how you were able to break one.

:o

Yeah, you got me too:D

When I first read it I said "oh NO!" and then "how?" then I thought "I hope it wasn't chopping a blue spruce;):D

Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!:D

I have used one to almost pull a stuck truck out. The blade held the weight of the truck but the knife kept slipping from between the push bars/bumper. A little dangerous but I just had to see if it would work. every time we let pressure off of the rope the AK fell to the ground so we just tied the rope to the tow hook and pulled her out. The blade barley flexed but I couldn't say how much and it was totalty fine when it was over.

I saw this same thing done with a Sears Craftsmen wrench on T.V. several years ago and that is where I got the idea to try it!

You would be hard pressed to break even a 12 inch Ak's blade in half!

Good thing you still have a whole one . . .

You might need it when the legions of believers come after you for such blasphemy!

;)

I clicked on the thread because I had to hear the story of how you managed to come to blows with Godzilla in Colorado.:p

Pat Mc

:D

Hmmphff!!!!

The terminator Chris ain't.. And I doubt the Terminator could break an AK!!!! :p :D

Cliff Stamp did not break his AK. Therefore, it is unbreakable.

(How's that for logic?)

You dirty rat.., you really had me going for a second. You'd have better luck trying to break a crowbar than a AK.

Come to think of it I don't think in the 14 or 15 years of selling AKs from village or shop we have ever had a blade failure. Never had to honor the Chiruwa AK guarantee of break it, send me the pieces and I'll send two free.
