A few years ago I messed up my 113 trying to round over the edges of the handle, and I haven't hardly carried it since.
My skills have gotten a lot better lately and today I decided it was time to revive my 113 by rehandling it, and of course I went with stag.

I had other more attractive pieces I could have used, but this had an appropriate curve to it.

It feels great in hand now, looks pretty good, and now it fits snuggly again in the sheath I made for it when I bought the knife 6 years ago.

I have a 113 from the CKS.

It is awesome!

I will gladly admit that Im jealous of you. That is a wonderful knife!
Thank you.

I have actually been hesitant to order a CKS 113 because I was worried that the edges would be square like a standard 113 and that the elk used might be much fatter than I prefer.
The workmanship would absolutely be better than I can do ( I'm 95% there ), but possibly not what I wanted.
I sure am glad I got a CKS 505 in elk before they were discontinued, because I just could not match what I received if I had to rehandle one.
