I can't believe i'm saying this, but ........

I could be wrong but I think only the Quark mini CR2 comes with lifetime batteries not the mini 123.

OCD can manifest itself in many different ways.:p

I was actually a flashaholic before my disease mutated and spread to knives. ;) I actually have more flashlights than knives. Somewhere around 50, and almost all LED. Surefires, Nitecores, JetBeam, Lumapower, Quarks, Olights, ITP, Maratac, MagLites (yeah, they actually make decent MagLEDs now) including a MagROP mod, Zebralights, etc. etc.

I just got the Quark Mini 123 a couple weeks ago. Great little light albeit with a slightly greenish tint. I EDC an ITP A3 EOS 1xAAA, Maratac AAA and now the Quark Mini 123 too. My pockets over-runneth from "EDC" with my CountyComm LA Wallet, Spyderco Endura G-10, SAK Classic, LM Micra, Fisher Trekker, and a pill fob with spare a AAA cell. I need to go to BDU.com and get more "tactical cargos" with more pockets. :)

Anyways, don't sweat it. It's ALL good!

Yes, you are correct. You pick how often you think you will go through cells and the lowest frequency is 1 cell every 6 months. So 4Sevens will send a CR2 cell to you every 6 months. If your battery usage is more than that, you have to pay extra. And it is only for 10 years for US residents and 3 for international. I'm not sure if this applies to a regular Mini CR2 (non-titanium).

I've got a NovaTac 120P.
This Flashlight does more things than I need it to.
I love the fact that I can program the settings/output.
It takes 1 (CR123) 3.6v Li-ion rechargeable Battery.
They last forever and a day but I've got two Batt.'s so one is always ready to go.
Best Flashlight I've ever owned!

I can't really wait the have my Quark Mini 123. I ment to order one last friday but I bought new laptop... so... Later again. I do love 4sevens service and free world wide shipping.

I had it with knives and am really into flashlights lately.
Just ordered a custom RA Clicky today with all the options :D

I hear you for the light :D

I just purchased a Fenix LD10 and i am still waiting for the mail to come in.

You threw away a tenacious ???... But why ???

Some would say that people who throw away knives aren't very bright. Wait! Didn't you say that you were buying a flashlight? Hmmmmmmm. Now I get it. :D

The ITP AAA eos is pretty awesome, but battery life is just terrible.

I have a few flashlights, and have a Quark AA2 on the way. Back ordered though. They didn't mention they were out of stock at the ordering page. Now I have to wait a month more.

It worked the other way around for me though: first knives then flashlights.

4Sevens makes good flashlights, and maybe a little cheaper than the competition. Check out Nutnfancy’s 4sevens booth review at the SHOT.

My Spyderco Stretch and my Fenix LD20 make good looking companions. :D

Nothing wrong with buying a flashlight, I bought one as well….. and a few backups::D

For now, I’m more into knives, at least until all the announced super lights hit the stores.

Knives and lights, I've got a few of each, but I also started out a flashaholic. The TI light is an illuminati. the quark mini is warm white. and I just ordered a titanium quark CR2. And I feel your pain with the back ordered quark. I ordered a Mnandi, they said it will be about a year before it is ready

What super lights?

I was referring to the new lights with hard(er) driven SST50/90 emitter.

Well, the Olight SR90 Intimidator is already available, but I’m still hesitating
till some good reviews are out and even then I think this one is little too heavy
and bulky for my needs.

Still in ‘coming soon’ state there’s the 4Sevens’ Maelstrom Series, Jetbeam’s RRT-3 and
I think some of the other brands, like Fenix or Eagle Tac will also jump the train and
offer similar lights.

Tom, will the SST50's be in any 1xcr123 format lights? I am only interested in super small super powerful lights:D

I carry either a Surefire E1b Backup or an E2D LED Defender every day - clipped to my pocket. The CR123a's have a great energy density - and, at $21/12 from Surefire for the best you can buy, they are affordable. Gunstores often buy them in bulk - and resell them at $2 ea - $5 a pair. Shelf life is 10+ yr. No chargers to keep up with, either. Don't buy Duracells, etc, from 'discount' houses - 2/$10 there - and they may not be 'protected', ie, have the high current supplying capability. Recall that these cells were originally used in the high current/fast discharge incandescent flashlights, which often dumped the entire energy storage of their cells in < 1 hr.

Hoarding - collecting - it's an illness. Knives, flashlights, firearms - model trains - you name it. It's an addictive behavior. At least the knives and flashlights don't take up a lot of room. Do yourself a favor - if you don't use them, take the alkaline/carbon zinc cells out of your flashlights. NiCd, MiMH, and LiPo's, too. Lithium primaries, like the CR123a, can be left in - they have a long (10+ yr) shelf life. There is nothing worse than finding your favorite flashlight (or other electronic device..) has had a leaking battery in it.
