I know I saw that! This guys got to be insane. That dosent look like damscus eigther.
 
Which means really crappy knives that might look like they are cool and are way overpriced!! :)
 
Never overestimate stupid people, it's quite possible that someone will actually bid on this. I remember seeing a Jag at over $100 on ebay. I think the seller used the words "best butterfly knife there is."
 
hahahaha watta jyp... but then again.. if i had a bali that i didnt want... id go to ebay and sell it for 10x as much as its value :) just to see if theres anyone that would buy it ^_^ hahaha
 
Yeah, I seem to remember getting mine for $19.99 (before it broke and Bear refused to fix it:mad: )and I thought that was a rip off. But then again I saw a couple of them at a Chesapeake Knife and Tool store in Manassas VA for $79.00 so someone must be buying.
 
This guy is definately a pin short of a Jaguar, alright. :D Looks like a Jaguar to me, but that finish isn't in my catalog of finishes...

There's an auction on ebay right now, looks like a Jaguar, but the pics don't show the stamp on the tang very well. That guys claims he has a Bali-Song/Behcnmade, whatever type knife. Here's the link:

Oh no, he's selling a Bear MGC Damascus clip point alright so technically it is USA made but it is without question a POS. Sorry but I'd take a china cheapy for 6.00 over one of those at any price.

And in the BM case I think I can make out the butterfly but I'm not positive.

There is one in Baltimore City, they are the absolute LAST place you want to buy ANYTHING. They are for people that absolutely do not know any better and Tourists. The one in Baltimore City is right in a Tourist Trap, The Inner Harbor and the prices are enough to make you want to puke in your soup.

Don, that's how this one is. According to my wife when she went in there to buy me my 42as as a surprise she told them that I hang out here at the forums and they got very huffy puffy and called us all snobs. Of course, they also said the 42 is the first ALL Ti balisong.
 
I thought the guy was insane! Trying to sell a Bear bali for that price even though it's damascus. I got one about 5 yrs ago for 35$, but stopped playing with it cause the handles got too floppy.
