  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I can't believe this guy expects to get at least $100 for this (auction)

yeah, Chesapeake does have some outrageous prices. I only go there to play with stuff (I'm really hoping they'll have a 43 and 47 when I go there next time) and to get cleaning supplies.

There was this one guy there once, and my dad asked to see this small Bear; he said "can I see that balisong there?" and the guy said "you know, it's not actually called a balisong. The balisongs are over there" and then he pointed to the Benchmade section. Then I stepped in and said "ACTUALLY, it is a balisong. All butterfly knives are called balisongs; butterfly knife is simply an americanized term. What Benchmade puts out were from what was called Bali-Song cutlery, which then turned into Pacific Cutlery, and then eventually became part of Benchmade."
the guy was like ".............oh". It was pretty funny ;).
I'd love to work there if it was close enough to me, but I don't think I'd be able to sell stuff to people knowing that I could direct them somewhere else where they have normal prices.
