i cant decide xm-18 or xm-24

What knife do you have or had that you think is the perfect size?
 
Go big, I'm loving every bit of my 24. It is a big folder so whatever pocket you use will pretty much be a knife pocket but I have never regretted the size.
 
See, I'm looking at it the other way. The 3.5" is just a tad big for EDC (for me), so I'm trading it for a 3" spanto flipper. For me, 3" is perfect size. That's the great thing about Hinderer knives: they cater to all preferences.
 
OP, I would suggest that you go the middle road to get the 3.5", unless you are looking for a longer cutting edge,
hacking, prying, which the added heft of the 24 would be more suited.
 
XM-18 is the bomb. 24 takes up toooo much real estate in pocket. Oh, ya, cinch your belt tight for the weight.
