Got too far ahead on the out of town job and ended up with Saturday off. Went into the shop to built some parts for a gantry crane for my home shop. But, I had been using this railroad spike as a stop for a big rolling weight I have been using to hold down some light metal to weld. Hadn't made a knife for a while and that RR spike kept talking to me. All I had for knife making tools was a OA torch, a big vise with a flat spot for an anvil, 4# beater and of course 4 1/2" grinders. Oh and I found a small chain saw file and some 220 emery paper so here it is. Quenched in water with a bunch of soap with a quess at it torch heat. LOL
