Hello all. I am new here to the fiddleback forum. Been on the forums for a while though. I have been looking and reading and researching trying to decide what my first fiddleback would be. I decided on a bush finger. Until I was reading through the sale today and saw the renegade (the one with Oreo scales). I just knew that was the knife for me. The drop point and convex grind just spoke to me. Love the handle to.
Buy alas I missed it on the sale by a few seconds. Hahah. So the hunt goes on. At least I know what I am hunting for now. It's a pleasure to be here. Good luck on your sesrching for "the one".

Google "Fiddleback Forge Renegade" as well. It will show most renegade's made with pictures from BF, Dealers, Instagram, Reviews, whatever. The majority aren't available (dealers keep sold pictures around), but it will give you an idea of what the Renegade looks like with different handles, so when Phillip gives you the options you'll be ready to make a choice. Also get's you prepared for Friday's with a little research of what you like under your belt.

^^ Good advice. I did find a couple other renegades in stock at some on line dealers. Looking forward to seeing what Phillip has at the shop.

Hi Kalsu

I am not trying to rub it in but I am the guy who got the Renegade. I am new to FF too. This is only my 2nd FF Friday purchase.

Part of the fun is to shark down the pieces you like. As there is a 12 hours different from where I stay, I have to wake up at 3am to participate in the FF Friday. I usually can't sleep after that all the adrenaline rush of putting my order through lol.

Two of the FF I bought a few weeks ago are on their long way home to me now. I will bring them into the woods to check them out when I get the chance. Having a 6 months old daughter behind my back has made it extremely challenging for me to make time for such exciting activities now.
