Will do Knoefz

Great packaging

Even has a seal.

Looks like QC needs review.
Roll on the edge.

Not super sharp from factory, came with a roll from factory. It snags at the roll.
Seems to have more acute convexing like a f1
It's more saber grind until it hits the Lamination line, then "Boom!"
An acute convex with microbevel.
I like it.
If the edge was damage free. It would have been sharper do to the thinner convex, also more bite.
the factory sharp on regular A1 was damage free and cut paper very clean however, it had an over polished, rounded apex at the microbevel, so it didn't cut phonebook paper well or pop arm hair.
I'm unconcerned with factory sharp.
For me it's how sharp they can get, never how sharp the come.

Stropped on Bark River White compound ~8k grit

Then on Flitz metal polish

Machine lines still present at microbevel but it polished nicely.

Damn
JFK wasn't joking though.
This steel responses better to stroping then any I've used so far.
What the picture doesn't show is that the hair was popping of my arm and jumping out of the way.
Very impressive for a 7mm knife the geometry and steel is awesome

The roll is still present however. Which is to be expected. A hard flat stone is what is needed.
It's definitely a sticky sharp steel much like aogami super and Hap40
If you love to sharpen and are obsessed with high sharpness in a survival knife this might be the one.

I write more details in another thread.
Peace
