Pulled the trigger on my first Busse knife, a Howling Rat. 128 bones seemed pretty reasonable, and it seems like a practical design for a combat utility or survival knife. I waited a good long time for a Yardkeeper to show up for a reasonable price and it hasn't happened. So... I dropped 300 dollars on Himalayan Imports after recieving my first knife from them two weeks ago, and now that I have this Busse knife on the way... how much crap am I in? Do I need to call up the Rehab Center ahead of time and tell em I'm coming, or what?
P.S. what can I expect for shipping time? Being new at this I have no clue. Thanks.
 
that is not a Busse, its a Swamprat.

Welcome to the addiction :thumbup: Did you buy off the Exchange ? If so shipping will vary .... your seller should be able to give you a good indication though once it is sent ....

Well, when ya think about it, there is a Swamp Rat forum here that is in need of new posts, why not? :)

Still not too late to go post there as well, it wouldn't hurt a thing to go do it.

I am a huge fan of the Swamp and would prefer that more people go post there about Swamp Rat instead of here, its only a hop, skip, and a jump over. And its nice and warm, wet, but warm. :D

You are going to love your Howling Rat! You should definitely get a RMD and Warden from the store while you still can.

I don't think you could find a better knife for $128. from the manufacturer - ANYWHERE!

Maybe when all the blades are sold... they will release the new one...:o

No, the Swamp Rat forum is fine...HOWEVER we need to make EVERYONE feel welcomed:)

We have alot of new brothers and sister's to the Busse Knife Group and they are unsure about it how they are related.

I know that you are old HOG and we appreciate all of your help but you gotta remember we were all NEW once:)

People look up to you cause you are on the website (Awesome Sheaths BTW) and when you post things.. they think that they are in the wrong for asking such questions...:)

You just keep making your awesome sheath's and we will keep making awesome knives:)

I was a bit slow on the uptake of the warm and wet comment. Swamp, warm, wet, a bit slow but I did get it eventually.

PayetteRucker, congrats on on your new Swamp Rat Howling Rat! Personally, that is one of my favorite smaller SRKW knives and I think that you'll love it. :thumbup::thumbup:

I think that Leatherman would just like to see the SR forum get a little more action.
