I did notice though - extract from Chokwe lock failure

:DPeanut Butter and Jelly sammiches are delicious...Especially when you use a super sharp Spydie to share it with a friend...

Some guys obviously don't read what I'm saying....
I thought there was a QC issue. some guys said otherwise. I learned to accept that fact. Stated I still don't care since designs are still not for me. If you've got Taiwanese Spyderco, you've obviously got offended or SOMETHING. Don't be. I love Spyderco, and respect EVERY product made by them. But what I don't like is people DRAMATIZING opinions.
If my opinion doesn't suit you, then ignore. Or for freaks sake, read what I'm saying!!! when I posted that "statement" (which was only an assumption, OBVIOUSLY), I did not intent to steer anything. I just wanted to say what I thought, in order to RECEIVE FEEDBACK, NOT some barking at how I'm too quick to post $h!t. So get out of my @$$ and go on with your daily life.

we just don't want you to miss out on some good spydies!! come on... you know you want a Sage... :D Your Bradley was probably dull because the guys at the knife store couldn't keep their hands off of it!

Isn't winter break over? All you had to do was say you mis-spoke or something. It's not hard to admit you were wrong or say something didn't come out right. Instead all you have done is back pedal and make excuses and now throw a fit. It was not OBVIOUSLY an opinion or assumption. That is the problem. You said it as fact instead of asking if it there might be a problem. Maybe you should read what you write before you reply? It wouldn't hurt anything.

Seems to me like there is some butthurt and dog piling, here was Razors's words

"Spyderco will fix it, no problemo. Still sucks to see it hapening on such a high end folder. I did notice though, that Spyderco seem to be having QC problems with their new 'made in Taiwan' knives. Maybe it's just me..."

Razorsharp seemed to come in here with a very positive attitude towards spyderco and it just looks like he is being dog piled for "misspeaking". I understand some of you are brand loyal to the point of blindness but cut the fellow a break, I haven't heard but positive things of spyderco from him. Now other members, on the other hand, have shown some rather appalling behavior, not towards spyderco but towards anyone who "misspeaks".

Exactly, if the first post, which I quoted, included the whole dull edge being a QC issue and the US sourced wood on the Bushcrafts being a problem instead of just stating that Taiwan Spydercos aren't built well. At least there would have been some sort of reasoning, no matter if I agree with it being a Taiwan QC issue or not, to back it up. Saying I don't care for the models and giving the examples is is better than just saying in the first post how there have been tons of problems with Taiwan QC without anything to back that up. That is what got people worked up, and considering a dull knife, especially one in a store that was probably handled a lot (in a non stainless steel subject to dulling from just being touched) is questionable IMO, but to others I'll admit it is a big deal so be it.

Anyway, if you want people out of you $&@" and to leave your a$$ alone then think before you post, or else people will think you are trolling. I don't think you were trying to troll, but you posted something 100% different from my experience and the huge majority of posts I've read about the Taiwan built Spydercos, so I felt compelled to comply. If you took the feedback you say you were looking for it would be to say something came out wrong or wasn't clarified properly, we've all done it.

Hi Razorsharp,

Sorry you had a problem with your Bradley. I hope it wasn't too much hassle to sharpen, it you wish, we'd be happy to resharpen it for you. I glad that your Dad likes his.

Regarding Taiwan, we will always respect your opinion and hopefully in the future, we might have an opportunity to change your mind. :)

We're glad you're picky. We too are picky. Good match.

Perhaps a lot of this bias stems from the initial problems with the Chicago/cat knives (which were taken care of).

Can you say a little more about these 'initial problems'? I bought a 2nd quality Chicago and am very pleased with it. Can't tell where the not-to-spec problem is. My Sage II is a great knife and is as well made as any of my other Japanese and U.S. made Spyderco folders

If you are referring to me I am not butthurt nor dogpiling. I like Spyderco but I've got plenty more Benchmade and they are my favorite. I also was not dog piling I was trying to point out why he was being called out and he decided to throw a tantrum. I don't even think I said anything negative, just trying to explain why he was getting crap about his comment.

He was called out on something and asked for an explanation. Instead of man up and say he was wrong or mis-spoke or whatever, he made excuses and back pedaled, changed his story, and eventually started cussing and acting immature.

I could care less but if you are going to post on a public forum, especially with a bunch of 'fan boys' then you should probably have a good reason to talk bad about something. And if you are called on it then give the good reason or say you made a mistake. Not a big deal and I'm done here.

Thank you Mr. Glesser.
I appreciate the offer to sharpen the knife, it really does show why I'm such a die hard Spyderco fan. You guys rock.
I've had no problem whatsoever sharpening the M4 on the Bradley! I've used my beloved Spyderco Sharpmaker, going through all the steps, starting with a couple of strokes on my diamond rods. After the resharpening, the knife cuts like a beast! My father is extremely pleased, and claims the new knife shall replace his other EDC, the D'allara.

I wouldn't mind to have my mind changed! I'd love to see a design I love in a affordable price. Which is what the Taiwanese line is all about, I guess. Saving money for all of us!
I always like to handle the knife, so QC is not a big issue for me in general. Going back to another point, I did buy the Bradley, even though it was dull, I simply didn't care. Spyderco QC is top notch, and I've never had any problems with my other Spydies (I've got around 50 already). A dull Bradley is not even a lemon, it's more like an orange!

To everybody else, I apologize for making you spend all that effort on trying to "re-educate" me regarding Spyderco's QC and the Taiwanese produced models. I just didn't emphasize how little it meant to me. The reassurance that QC is not an issue even on %99.999999 of the new T made models will be kept in mind when Spyderco come out with a design I like.

Thanks for the patience and understanding.
