A few of you that i met up at the April CT Gathering called to inquire about my whereabouts last month, thanks
For the rest of you, I got home from the gig happy as a clam to have attended and met all the folks up there. Learned something from just about everyone:thumbup:
Since I put off some house maintenance to go; when I got home I got right on it
Climbed up on the roof to clear it and the gutters, and promptly went sailing off
, missing all the 'apparent' soft landing spots
Screwed up my back bad enough to have been seeing an Ortho Doc, taking Celebrex for the past month and going to P'Therapy 3 times a week. Hurt bad enough not to be able to sit at the desktop which was n't/is'nt functoning all that well. And my laptop farted itself, so i could'enjoy even that.
That was the good part....my laptop had been sucking and then farted itself causing undue anquish due to lack of everything from being able to email folks, to pay my online bills. I had to cancel a trade with gunknifenut that i had agreed to because my new bills would not allow me to go foward and still be able to pay my rent
I apologized to him for not being able to do the trade in a timely manner:foot:.
Life is still not back to normal. Even though the computer is up, I have a tech coming tomorrow to work on both computers (that's gonna cost
). Obviously I have'nt gone anywhere or been able to do anything for a whole month now, so everything is backed up except my income:grumpy: essentially going to have to part with a large part of my camping gear and knife collection in order to pay down the bills and cover the rent.
I have pics' from the gig for you Brian, just have to get this computer up to speed to send them to you over the wire. Like I said, had a great time, met lots of great folks, and shared some wisdom all around. Thanks to Marty, Aggie, Brian, Kevin and the rest who shared their collective wisdom with the rest of us:thumbup:
Be back in a few days I hope...
