Saw a 110 circa 2011 or 12 sold for $110? Had no sheath and several rust spots on both sides of the blade? 45 bids as well?? Nothing in the description indicated it was a special knife?

unfortunately this is common on the bay. can't tell how many times used, beat knives go for higher prices than a brand new knife of basically the same age. especially the fixed blades.

Yes i see 119’s for $59 new plus shipping and tax yet you could go down to your local Walmart and get one for $47 plus just tax no shipping.

Yes the birth date thing could be but if someone knows that about the dates on the knife i would think he wouldn’t pay tripple the price unless money is no object. Seems there’s a lot of that running around these days.

This auction was fishy.. Look at the auction bids.. There was a shill bidder with (0) history who ran the bid all the way up from$30 something to the $110 a few dollars at a time. The auction is immediately relisted and the winning bidder at $110 then buys the knife for $35 in a Buy it Now. Even at $35 it was no bargain. Why buy a 10 year old knife with no sheath with rust? on the blade for about the new price at WalMart with a sheath? Fishy Fishy Fishy
