When my eight year old pup (in my avatar) got sick with cancer he was very sad. It didn't take long. I am not a hunter but I killed deer to feed him because he wouldn't eat dog food anymore. I slept on the floor with him because he couldn't make it up the stares and it was too painful for me to carry him up. Whatever it takes.

Man, I am at vet, he's showed enough emprovment in his levels, to bring him home,, with some meds,, will have to bring him back next week to get checked again, but he his coming home,, thanks everyone for your thoughts, man I can thank you enough,, continue to keep thinkin of Jack. He's not out of the water yet,, but things are lookin up,,
 
Great news Jeremey! My family will keep you and Jack in our thoughts and prayers. I have to take my wifes pup to the vets today to check up on his broke leg.We are praying he does not need surgurey.

Jeremy that is awesome news man. It will probably do Jack alot of good to be around HIS best friend.

I had a cancer scare with my kids' puppy here a couple of weeks back and I was shittin' bricks thinking the worst. But things are a-ok and she is back to tearin' shit up.
