I dont ask for much,,

I don't even follow this forum, but I saw this and had to stop and read it. I HATE losing a dog. I have, more times than I care to think about. And I miss each and every one of them. I have sworn to never again get another dog but I always do. Right now, I have a hand me down Chessapeak Bay retriever that is maybe the best dog I've ever had. I am very sorry for your loss, but remember........another dog is out there that needs the kind of love and companionship that only you can give in your way.

Nothing to say. But I'll miss him, too.

You made me cry, boy.:(

I've met Jack in person, and I know he was top-notch companion.
Jeremy, you're in my thoughts, bud.

Oh man Jeremy
I am so sorry.
I heard about this early today and just couldnt
bring myself to even look at this thread, hoping
it wasnt true.
Been choked up all day,and I never even met the dog.
Jack has touched all of us in one way or another.
He will be sorely missed.

Hang in there J,
you have a lot of friends here for you.

I think Carto said it best,
"Sleep tight Jack, we'll see you on the other side.... "

When I lost my best friend all I could think to do is be as strong as he always was. I am no good with people and this kind of thing but I feel for you J.

Later,

Kevin

Either that or he's doing some reckon of that Big Compound in the Sky for you

I hope today treats you better Jeremy. Although you are not with him, Jack has some good company. Hopefully the good memories start to overshadow the pain of losing his presence.
