I just picked up a cold steel pendelton mini hunter with a vg-10 stainless blade for $9.36 from bladehaus.com I think they must've made some kindof mistake but the knife is listed as $0.00 so I only had to pay shipping

They only charged me $8.63!

Yeah it waqs like less than $10.00 for mine. I think it is a promo cause I tried to order 5 and it wouldnt let me.

Riley - Do you actually have the knife in hand yet or has the system simply processed your order? This is most likely an error and I'm virtually certain that the merchant will not honor any orders placed at that price. (They are certainly not obligated to.) What usually happens when something like this happens is they will contact you and tell you that the order has been cancelled. Just because you clicked on it doesn't make it a binding contract. At the most basic level, a contract requires an offer, acceptance and consideration. Paying for shipping alone will not cut it for consideration.

As ashtxsniper said, it could be a promotional "loss-leader" item, but they would usually say so and state right up front that there was a limit.

I dunno.. Last year sportsmans Guide made a mistake online.. put up 30-06 ammo for .79 a box! Obviously it was supposed to be $7.90! I bought 2 CASES.. 20 boxes.. They honored the deal.

We'll see.. I hope they do.. ;)

lovely wished I knew about that one.
:(

I dunno we'll see...if it's true it looked like a good deal and I thought I'd share it...if its not nothing lost. I'd kinda prefer the larger 1 any way, but I'll probably know sometime tomorrow.

That was really nice of Gary to honor that price mistake. He's a millionaire and there was "some" consideration. Here the so-called price is $0.

I can't bring myself to take advantage of this guy.

Pretty much this is what I was thinking of. We will have to wait and see though; however, the way you have presented the case here makes more sense.

A word of caution here: The Cold Steel Pendleton is NOT made of VG-10 but of VG-1. These two steels are not the same steel with just a different denomination! They are different steels.

Got an order in with a confirmation #

We'll see what happens in the a.m.
