I don't have "a month or so" to wait for a screw

Chain ring bolts to be exact. They're the the two-part male/female screw that you can use as a pivot bar and tensioner for a friction folder. My usual go-to supplier has let me down on this particular adventure and I need another source. USAKnifemaker allowed me to order the part with no problem, and a week later when I contacted them wondering where my shipping notification was, I was met with the response that they'd forgotten to email me about the part being out of stock with "a month or so" backorder time.

I'd prefer not to do that.

The dimensions I need are 3/16" shaft with 1/4" head and roughly 1/2" length. Anybody know of another supplier that will actually have one to ship out if they take my money?

Thanks folks.

Take a look at bicycle shops. They should carry them. You'll have to check for that size though.

That's a good idea. I did a search for the part online and returned some cycling articles so I'll check with the local shops. Thanks.
