I don't know about you guys but my Domino has been absolutely perfect!

Had my Domino for awhile now and I have carried, and beat it to extreme levels of what a knife should be able to stand and it has performed perfectly.

I have kept it sharp on the SM and some strops with diamond spray and it is still hair popping.

It is a classy knife but I have used it as a hard use knife and it still looks classy.
I love having the spydie hole and the flipper, however I find myself using the hole more. My first real knife was an Endura in 1991 given to me by my best friend, who was at that time a fresh out of BUDS SEAL who swore by that knife. Although I have other knives, I find that I am drawn back to the spyderco's more than any other brand.

Thanks Sal and Eric for making an awesome knife.

Great knife. I also use the hole more than the flipper. Riding on the bearings makes it so dang smooth.

My Sage 1 is by far my favorite folder that I own but that might change if I ever get the Domino.

Love my Domino as well. And use the spidy whole more also as well. The only thing I'm not a fan of, and this has nothing to do with the quality of the knife, is how the flipper hits my finger when closing. It's like I start to close the knife and the flipper stops me...then I have to get my finger out of the way and then finish closing it. Guess I'm not much of a flipper guy. All that said, Spyderco did a fantastic job with the Domino and it's one heck of a high quality knife. Fit and finish is top notch.

The design didn't work for me; the knife was too wide, and it felt bulkier in the pocket than even much larger knives.

That's one of the many great things about Spyderco, though, they make something for everyone--I'm glad you like your Domino.

I love mine, thinking of de-flipping it since I prefer to use the hole...

Mine just came ten minutes ago too. As soon as I got it in my hand, I knew it was a keeper!

The blue weave won me over. Glad it did, it's one of my all time favorite blades now. Great model and design.

Say what? If you do, please post pics.

I'll just grind off the flipper if I do.. Been thinking of doing my Southard as well since the new thinner scales makes it easier to use the hole. Not too fond of flippers ;)

Er, what would be the point? Would it be easier just to get a Sage (as the Domino is basically the flipper version of the Sage knives)?

Not quite. I do have Sages and prefer the Domino, but I don't like flippers..

Grind it off with... what?

Same here. Love the knife, just don't care for the flipper at all.
