I don't own any of your knives, but I am impressed.

Welcome! This is a broken record for some, as I’ve mentioned it quite a bit, but I discovered RC/ESEE knives last October or so. I saw a 3 attached to a guys gun kit and thought it looked pretty cool. Then started reading on the warranty, service, quality, etc and here we are and I’m looking for number 6 now. I am not a “knife person”. I’m a woods and tool person. ESEE knives are tools for me and I use them as such. I have no desire to collect them to look at or whatever, they’re for use.

At first, when I had a few critiques, I just kept them to myself or discussed them on a limited basis. It didn’t take long to realize that Jeff and Mike WANT constructive criticism and input on what the END USER thinks could be valuable modifications or ideas. I applaud them for keeping the customer their #1 priority.

The knife is an essential piece of gear and I’m proud to carry ESEE and have confidence that their knives will pull through when I need them. As far as overall features, quality and service goes, I don’t think there is anything I’d rather carry than ESEE blades.

There are a couple of aftermarket sheath options I think if you don’t like the kydex.

On the ESEE website they also sell a MOLLE back for the ESEE5 -- in addition to adding several carry methods to the basic molded sheath, it also has a flap that folds over the top of the knife to make it all but impossible to lose when carrying on a pack or LBE strap. (you can also get a front pouch that shares bolt holes with the molle backand sandwiches the sheath)
