I don't want my Gayle Bradley to ever leave my pocket.

Completely agree with your conclusion 230. I have the first run with the full liners, no Taichung stamp or the Texas stamp.

I completely love the thing.

I absolutely love this knife. I've had it for a while and it is still screaming sharp. The Blade shape and profile are ideal. Another little finish aspect that i love is the exposed liner past the CF. It just gives a very elegant look to the knife. This is more of my dress knife. lol

Figured i'd run outside and try out my new macro lens. Really should have brought the tripod and shot with a different aperture, but hey.. my first two pictures could have been worse. Wanted to try and show the logo and the CF a bit.

i mentioned several times that i thought this knife was the best in spydie inventory. makes the miliie & Para & STRETCH look 2nd class.

The absence of the Gayle Bradely etching on the first run was an accident and it affected something like 200 knives. Spyderco offered free etching if one was inclined to send it in. Mine is one of those. Full liners and no GB etching. I'm keeping it that way ;)

The GB is certainly one of the best knives coming out of Spyderco these days and not just for the money.

Awesome outcome with this knife!

i ordered one a few days ago cant wait till it gets here.i have herd nothing but good things about this knife.i got a zdp strech for christmas and just ordered a chokwe, i wonder wich is goin to get the most pocket time

Hey 230, excellent pictures! What camera + lens setup were you using for the shots?

First shots were taken with a Nikon d5000 DSLR with a 35mm f1.8 lens, the macro shots were the same camera, only with the Sigma 150mm macro lens.

230, I noticed in this pic its says Taiwan on the blade. I guess it does'nt hinder the quality or steel. But i wonder why not Usa or Seki city? It still looks like a really nice folder.
Also your camera skills are great congrats on both.

Nice photos. Agree on all points. Just opening the blade on the GB is an experience entirely different than the other 32 Spydies I've bought this year. It is slicker than owl **it! If there was a knife made to be fondled, the GB is it!

I was going to say that I would have paid twice the amount of money had the blade been stamped made in Golden, CO, but that is just for my own "buy American" reasons, not for fear of quality. The quality is TOP NOTCH, better than any other spydie i've owned, including their American models.

Honestly, the fit and finish of it is perfect. Sebie quality IMO with better steel.

my gb and chokwe just got here and i think the gb is goin to be in the pocket for a long time:D

When I first saw this I thought it was too duck-like. No problem with ducks, but all that waddling and quacking makes them hard to take seriously. This subconsciously undermined my confidence in the Gayle Bradley. Now, after the reviews and comments, I see how those duck-based concerns are really groundless. I'm buying one.

I have one on the way! I've been eyeing it for a while, found one just under $100 and couldn't wait any longer. My friend thinks this knife is ugly and is looking at the Benchmade 710. Maybe the pictures in this thread or seeing mine in person will change his mind....

It's funny your friend thought the GB is ugly, I think a lot of spydies are ugly. I very rarely find a spyderco I don't consider "ugly", but I don't buy them for their looks. Oddly enough, I think the GB is a very good looking knife.
