It depends...if you leave them in water longer than 5-6 seconds they melt. As long as you retrieved it quickly you should be fine. 
Seriously, blow on it, wipe the blade on your pants (or not) and stick it in your pocket!!

Spray WD 40 into the Axis spring chamber and pivot. It'll replace all water residue there. I'm more concerned with the axis spring getting rusted, that's all.

Consider the stream treatment to be a good way to flush pocket lint out of the axis lock OP! :thumbup:
