I expect that got him what he wanted.

i guess I was expecting a bit more professionalism from someone of his background.

Are you sure you know what his background actually is;) I don't think we were dealing with whom we were told we were dealing with.......but that's just me.

I just wish he'd go be a POS somewhere else. It was entertaining, and as mentioned he was owned several times, but the guy was just too egotistical and obdurate to realize it was time to stop. I found myself wishing it would go to the Cove, or something. I think I might actually chime in over there.

What also bugs me is I see that he's beginning to post replies to questions in Shoptalk. I hope no one gets mislead in a big way by this idiot.

I'm not sure why a kit maker would be instructing people on how to make knives:confused:

He's been called out on a few other forums, and has replied with the same condecending tone he used here.
Maybe a few recent threads can be used as a "how not to..." to not only new knifemakers, but new people to the forum.

Some of us went well beyond the call to try and reason with him. I felt he had an opportunity to clean his act up and learn a few things.... man do I feel like schmuck for not seeing it was a useless gesture. I will probably fall for it again, though.

Rick

Don't let him make you feel like a jerk for being a nice guy.

I wondered if that thread would come to their attention.

It's a small community. The truth will out, as they say.

It wasn't a useless gesture at all!

Most folks who care about the craft of knifemaking seem to be willing to bend over backwards to help others. There's honor, good clean fun, and a certain humility in that... even if it falls on deaf ears. One doofus can't cancel that out.

Looks like he lied about that too. :thumbdn:

Doesn't look good. Here's a quote from that discussion:

"There is a Jeffrey Natterer (CPT) in the AKO database (US Army Reserve), but he is Infantry, not SF. Only one in the datatbase with that name."
