Long story short. I am a beginner at sharpening and opted for a Work Sharp precision adjust pro 2-3 years ago at blade show.
Just picked up their upgrade kit at blade show on Friday that now includes a 1200, 2000, and 3000 grit diamond stones. In addition, it includes a leather strop with a 0.5-micron chromium oxide compound. From the beginning my biggest complaint was the lack of diamond stones. These additions have been a huge improvement. For what I have invested in this whole system (< 450.00), I am extremely pleased. Just my humble 2 cents.
I included a pic of my PM2 in CPM S30V that I just sharpened. It now has a mirror edge and push cuts paper with ease. Just a small victory for me in getting the result I was after in sharpening.
