I Feel like an idiot

I understand them not sending out washers, for any number of reasons. But having to "fit" washers to specific individual Sebenzas, Umnums, Mnandi makes no sense to me. I'm not saying you're incorrect, only that I don't understand why/how each washer or knife is like a snowflake. Wouldn't all the knives and their parts have to be standardized for production and financial reasons?... especially CRK knives, which are known for precise tolerances?

I think becuase of the pivot bushing, the washers have to be fitted on to insure the bushing doesn't introduce play. I've never had to get new washers though so I can't be sure.

I dissasembled my umnumzaan and when i couldnt close it I found out I bent one washer.I contacted Heather and it was covered. All I had to do was pay the shipping

The Umnu doesn't use a bushing like the Seb, though, which may be why they're comfortable mailing out washers for the Umnu but not for the Seb.
