I just signed up for my platinum membership, so now I can see where my feedback has come from. Post (to my account, obviously) positive karma, or justice, or whatever the heck that thing is supposed to be, and I'll enter you into a drawing for a free, brand new knife. I haven't figured out which knife I want to give away yet, but I'm feeling like sharing the joy.

If you want a second chance to win something free, I'm doing a parallel give-away at my forum. The only hitch is that you have to register in order to see the thread there and post to it.

Not sure how well this'll work though, since you can only see the last 5. You're sure to miss some when you sleep or are away for a while. You might want to just do a choose-a-number thing.
 
That's true; I figured I'd check it periodically, but I guess anyone who really, really wants in on the free knife should be sure to post to this thread as well.

I'm not above rep-whoring, but to be honest I just felt like giving away a knife. Life's been good to me these past few months and I feel like sharing. That doesn't mean you can just skip the positive points, though. ;).
 
do you have to be a paying member to do this? and how do ya do it if not :confused: lol ..

Darn! I already whored off all my rep points for the next 24 hours, mostly in the Cove. :grumpy: Can I try again tomorrow? How long is this thing gonna last and how are you going to choose the winner and what is the winner gonna get? (I'm such a nosy little knife knut...) :D

Nice going on the platinum membership. I'm glad to hear you're doing so well! :)

It's funny sometimes being able to see who hit you, when it's an obviously unhappy camper with a filthy mouth. They are usually the ones with the gray chiclets ...

Oh, and BTW, great site Phil. I've spent many happy hours of reading, and many, many dollars on knives as a result.
 
Ashes, I'm going to choose a winner at random from among the entries on July 15. I figure that's as good a day as any; Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince comes out that weekend, so I'll be feeling festive.

I haven't selected the giveaway knife yet. I'm freaking surrounded by knives, so it could be anything.
