I feel like giving away a knife.

On further consideration I have decided that I am not going to give away a knife.

I'm going to give away two knives.

I will pick not one, but two winners, the first of whom will have his or her choice between a CRKT Side Hawg fixed blade and a Dozier thumb-notch folder. The runner-up will receive the knife not picked by the winner. Both knives will be brand-new, still in their original packaging, never touched by human hand or mine either.

Second week of the contest. Feel free to enter more than once; I'll count the entries accordingly.

Now I'm getting all excited about the release of Harry Potter, which only makes me want to start throwing free knives at people. Wait, maybe "throwing" isn't what I'm looking for...

Unrelated note: I tried the throwing knives and throwing axes at the Renaissance Faire this year. Almost stuck the first axe (the guy behind me, in his fake Ren Faire accent, sounded genuinely impressed -- "Good throw, milord," he says to me). Failed with the others. Took me a couple of throws to get the feel for the knives and managed to stick the third one, but not in the little target. I could have tried more, I guess, but it seemed unfair to keep playing while there was a line of people behind me.

Just misplaced two knives, a Dozier Arkansas Toothpick and a Gerber Carbon Fiber sl3.25.

Sure could use somethin'new till I find 'em.

Pretty cheap way to get some good feedback. If I cared about the ratings at all I'd give you some big - points.
