I feel old today.

Okay, so last month I became the father of a teenager. My oldest boy (of three boys) turned thirteen on the seventh of March, and I've been noticing that he is getting a little scruffy around the upper lip. Well, tonight, after his shower, I had him shave for the first time. No, I didn't hand him a knife, or a straight-razor. He used my Fusion. My wife took pics, but those are for us. Anyway, I never thought he would get old enough to shave, but here it is.

Just thought I would share with some of the best people I know. I'm old.
 
At least you don't have to worry about him getting knocked up ;)

You feel old? In eight days I will be married to a 66 year old woman!

(Wouldn't trade her and the last 38 years for anything, though.)
 
Just wait, time goes fast, before you know it, your son will have gray in his whiskers, and you will feel the arthritis in your bones. Life is too short.

Mike H - I know I'm not really old. I just still feel like a kid myself, so having a son old enough to shave came as a shock. Congrats on 38, brother!

Bufford - Years of bustin' tires makes me feel the arthritis already, mostly in my knees and back. I really feel it when I'm hammering steel now. Only have a few hours in me at a time. But, it's worth it when I finish a knife, and it looks nice, and cuts well.
 
Can't make it. Just starting a new job after being laid off for five months.

Hey, CM, don't want to deceive you. I never served, just appreciate those who did.

Lordy, When that happened to me I was hardly more than a child myself, I think he is now about 52 and I only got old a very few years ago. You need to rethink this OLD thing.

My x who is 22 constantly brought up the fact that I was/am old and I'm 27 :eek:

When I was 26 she still said I was pushing 30...
 
I love to tease my wife about being old. She is a little more than a year younger than me. She acts like she hates it. (maybe not an act?)
 
These are the Good Times, Enjoy them now. They'll be a memory before you know it my friend.:)
