I feel old today.

That's kinda' what this was all about, feeling those moments with my son slipping away. It seems I was just bringing him home from the hospital, and he is now as tall as my wife. Even the "baby" is now seven years old, and there's a ten year old in between. Thank God for cameras.

I felt old the first time I got a senior citizens discount at a fast food joint (and I didn't ask for it).

When my granddaughter came along, I didn't feel so bad about being "old".

Okay, so last month I became the father of a teenager. My oldest boy (of three boys) turned thirteen on the seventh of March, and I've been noticing that he is getting a little scruffy around the upper lip. Well, tonight, after his shower, I had him shave for the first time. No, I didn't hand him a knife, or a straight-razor. He used my Fusion. My wife took pics, but those are for us. Anyway, I never thought he would get old enough to shave, but here it is.

Just thought I would share with some of the best people I know. I'm old.

Hell my grandson started shaving. I must be RRRREEEEAAAALLLLLYYYY old.

I know what you mean about kids growing up fast. My daughter will be 10 this spring and where the heck did a whole decade go?!?

My lady is older than me. Hence, I NEVER mention age around her. :D

Kbrasmodeler - go buy yourself, and the offspring, a knife. You'll feel better.

You ain't old until yer kid can outrun you.

thx - cpr

Nows a good time to stay close to your son, They get goofy when they get in there teens. LOL !

Whatcha talkin' about, teens are the model of logic and level headed thinking. Gene Rodenberry modeled the Vulcans off of teenagers' behavior patterns. True Story.

My x who is 22 constantly brought up the fact that I was/am old and I'm 27

When I was 26 she still said I was pushing 30...

35 now and still wondering what happened to my 20s.

My oldest will be 5 next month. My youngest is 8 months. I don't feel old, only more mature. Regardless of what my bones tell me.

get him some condoms. or somebody wil be callin you " grandpaw ".

I have a different idea. I have taught him to be respectful, and responsible. He has learned morality, which is sadly lacking in todays society. Of course, he could still mess up, but we have an open communication between us, so I'm pretty sure he would talk to me before it got that far. He has already brought up some serious issues with me, and we talked it out and handled it like men. He is a very mature, serious young man.
