I wouldn't have noticed it either because I never felt the cut at all just the bone hitting just above the knuckle's,I tried messing around with the knife later that night and I got sharper then I ever have but I think that's do to having better stones.

Been there, got the stitch scars... :rolleyes:. If the knife's properly sharp tho I don't usually notice until I see the blood :eek:...

Lol. I was wide awake during surgery. Only because I am allergic to anesthesia. Once the nerve blocks wore off and an infection set in. It was a rough next 4 days!

Did they have to cut the bone off that was sticking out or did they graft skin over it,I'm thinking if they had to cut the bone off it would be pretty bad,at least you didn't do something like Red Green would have tried like grabbing for the Dremel Tool and one of those blades that look like a Table Saw blade and tried trimming back yourself and then slapping some of the HandyMan's secret weapon on it.

If you haven't heard of Red Green google him it was a TV Show in Canada.

I just have to throw this out there ... “run on” run on sentences ....I won’t read them. ...
Hi,
What browser are you using?
This is a problem a browser or forum should be solving,
it is trivially solved by increasing line height , by double spacing, like school papers/speeches.

Since bladeforums already uses jquery, use this bookmarklet
Code:
javascript:(function(){
    $('blockquote.messageText').css({'line-height':'3'});
})()

They cut the bone down enough to let it grow over. Still healing 7 weeks and counting. No skin graft.

So you mean the end of the bone is exposed after they cut back and now the skin is growing over it that's sounds pretty rough.

Ow!!!
I haven't cut myself while sharpening but I did while carelessly wiping off a kitchen knife after sharpening it. Cut through the towel and into a finger nerve which is only partially healed after 2 years. And it wasn't even a nice knife!

Folks, take it to PM if you must.

That is correct. No not the best. NOR Was the surgeon!!! Which is being addressed in a separate matter!!

I hope for your sake they don't have to dig around and make the skin raw again to try and get it to start growing again and get it growing right,I have heard of case's like that.

I went back to work yesterday and today and worked pretty good and at about the same speed as I normally do.

Me either!!! It is healing surprisingly. Monday I start collagen treatment on raw area. Supposed to help draw new skin up and around area.

My mother takes this stuff for her health and a few other thing's as well and she has lost 98 pounds in year and is still dropping the pounds and she never could before no matter what she did,she is not taking this stuff to loose weight.

She taking this stuff for joint's and it has also improved her skin as well,when you said collagen treatment I thought of this right away and thought you never know your Doctor may say to take it,I also know if you are going to make shakes another good thing is the most bitter chocolate you can find and by that I mean bakers chocolate I heard it many ties and my friends brother who has cancer takes it because the Doctor siad it has some much nutrients in it that it's amazing because what's in there is really package with tons of good stuff and in really good amount's witch he say's in almost any healing case is a good thing because your body is not lacking anything while it's trying to heal.He said to eat or put in a shake about a 1x1 inch square.

Hi,
As I was not dogpiling/complaiing about the writing style of wade, I do believe it was correct to offer a public solution to a public complaint, in an attempt to prevent future public complaints, as this text isnt on physical paper , just stuff on the computer screen

Okay...we're done here. Let's move on to something on topic for this forum.
